CHANGE OF COMPANY NAME
As from December 1st, 2006, the social name of S.E.M.T. Pielstick changed to
MAN Diesel SA
as the shareholder MAN Diesel SE became sole shareholder of the company on October 5th, 2006.
The change of name does not modify neither the structure, nor the products, nor the commitments whether financials or of any other sort made by the company under the name of S.E.M.T. Pielstick towards its customers, suppliers or any business partners.
It has the advantage of putting special emphasis on the integration of the company into the MAN Diesel Group, an essential actor on the large Diesel engines market.
All products will still carry the name of S.E.M.T. Pielstick and the coordinates of MAN Diesel SA remain the same as those of S.E.M.T. Pielstick.
S.E.M.T. Pielstick specializes in the design, development and production of 4-stroke high
and medium-speed Diesel engines.
Today, our Diesel engines:
- generate electrical power,
- propel naval vessels,
- propel merchant ships,
- drive locomotives worlwide.

S.E.M.T. Pielstick, with a worldwide network of Licensees and authorized repairers, has installed more than 41 000 000 kW around the world with over 14 000 Diesel engines ranging from 500 to 26 500 kW per unit in power plants, naval vessels, merchant ships and railways. The closing date of each fiscal year is December 31.The turnover for the period 01.01.04 to 30.12.04 reached 156 million Euros.
