The 400 mm bore |
|
As a result of our research and experience, the PC 2.6 B medium speed engine has competitive specific fuel consumption figures in all service conditions.
The first 400 mm bore S.E.M.T. Pielstick medium speed engine entered into service in 1953.
S.E.M.T. Pielstick now has an impressive track record with over 4 300 medium engines built, for a cumulated rating of over 26 000 MW. The PC range of engines has logged approximately 250 000 000 service hours using residual fuels.
The PC 2.6 B engine can operate with all commercially available residual fuels.
